Nor-Cal Jazz is 5 years old this year!!!
The 2018 Nor - Cal Jazz is firing up for another great year!
March 25 we have Kezirah back with a smaller band of master musician at the Chico Women's Club.
On April 27 piano virtuoso Grant Levin will be playing the Steinway at the Chico Women's Club with Greg D' Augelli and Lew Langworthy.
May 3 in collaboration with the Museum of Northern California Art we welcome from San Francisco accordionist Rob Reich and clarinetist, Ben Goldberg for an evening of Parisian influenced jazz and beyond.
June 21 the Nor-Cal Jazz Festival creates a new event, The Sundial Music Festival; a Celebration of American Music on the Summer Solstice next to the beautiful Sundial Bridge, on the banks for the Sacramento River in Riverfront Park in Redding. Performing will be Honky Tonk Country Dance Band, “The Stampedos”, Hammond B-3 Jazz from ‘The Delbert Bump Trio” and international Bluesman “Big Mo and the Full Moon Band”. Tickets available here.
July 28 we return to beautiful Lee Fong Park in historic Weaverville with another fun filled day. Save the date, you won't want to miss this one. Opening the show are “The Jazzstronauts” playing jazz favorites, “The JB Quartet”, vocalist Jeff Bailey singing the great American Songbook and a new twist this year, International Bluesman “Big Mo and the Full Moon Band”. Tickets coming soon!
